WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHERE:  Intersection of West Cary Street and Crenshaw Avenue

WHEN:  Friday, March 21 through Friday, March 28, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BACKGROUND:  The right eastbound lane of West Cary Street, where it intersects with Crenshaw Avenue, will be closed to allow for installation of curb extensions, crosswalks wheelchair ramps, pavement markings and a new drainage system.

WHEN:  Tuesday, March 18 through Monday, March 24

BACKGROUND:  There will be intermittent lane closures in the aforementioned area to allow for street re-paving.

Street Closed in The Fan This Sunday

The 1600 block of W. Main Street will be closed for water main work this Sunday, March 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE:  Hey Road between Hull Street and Snead Road

WHEN:  Wednesday, March 19 through Thursday, April 17

BACKGROUND:  The aforementioned area will be closed due to construction at the intersection of Hull Street and Derwent Road.  Local traffic will be permitted on Hey Road.  Through traffic must use Orcutt Lane.

WHERE:  East Broad Street between 5th Street and 6th Street

WHEN:  9 a.m. Monday, March 17 until further notice

BACKGROUND:  The eastbound center lane and right lane of the aforementioned area will be closed indefinitely to repair a cave in next to the Hilton Garden Inn in the right travel lane.

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHERE:  10th Street between Cary Street and Canal Street

WHEN:  Monday, March 17 through Friday, March 21, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

BACKGROUND:  The aforementioned area will be closed to allow for excavation to remove buried timber poles, which will alleviate pavement distress near the James Center parking deck.  Motorists are advised to follow the detour signage.
