WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Monday, October 1 through Tuesday, October 9 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

WHERE:  

·         West Home Street between Roane Street and the dead end

·         Fendall Avenue between Overbrook Road and West Homes Street

·         Rose Avenue between West Graham Road and West Fells Street

·         Yancey Street  between North Avenue and Greenwood Avenue

·         Greenwood Avenue between Yancey Street and West Graham Road

·         Miller Avenue between Yancey Street and Overbrook Road

·         West Fells Street between St James Street and Rose Avenue

·         King Street between St James Street and Rose Avenue

·         School Street between St James Street and Rose Street  

BACKGROUND: There will be alternating lane closures in the aforementioned area for slurry paving. Please drive carefully and follow the road signs.

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Street Closure

WHEN:  Starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 28 through 6 a.m. on Monday, October 1

WHERE:

·         East Cary Street between 5^th and 7^th streets

·         5^th Street (northbound) between Canal and Cary streets

·         6^th Street (southbound) between Cary Street and the midblock alley to the north of Cary Street

BACKGROUND: The aforementioned areas will be closed to dismantle one of the tower cranes at the Dominion Tower site at 700 East Canal Street. Please use caution and follow the detour signs.

WHO:  City of Richmond Department of Public Works

WHAT:  Lane Closure

WHEN:  Starting at 7 pm Monday, September 24 and ending at ending at 4 pm on Friday, September 28

WHERE: East Broad Street between College and North 12^th Street  

BACKGROUND: The northern westbound sidewalk and bus lane of East Broad Street between College and North 12^th streets will be closed to perform emergency sewer repairs at 1200 East Broad Street. The off-ramp from I-95 will be affected. The work is scheduled to occur overnight however, the area will remain closed the entire time. Please use caution and follow the traffic signs.

WHEN:  Starting at midnight on Monday September 17 and ending at Noon on Tuesday, September 17, 2019

WHERE:

·         25^th Street between East Main and Dock streets

·         26^th Street between East Main and Dock streets  

BACKGROUND:  The following areas will be temporarily converted to one-way traffic: 25^th street between East Main and Dock streets will be temporarily converted to one-way traffic traveling southbound and 26^th Street between East Main and Dock streets will be temporarily converted to one-way traffic traveling northbound. On-street parking will be changed accordingly. Please use caution and follow the traffic signs.
