WHEN: Starting at 8 a.m. on July 17 and ending at 8 p.m. on July 21

WHERE: 1001 Mosby Street between P and R streets (7th voter district)

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to complete the painting of street murals near Martin Luther King, Jr. Middle School This work is part of the Office of Equitable Transit and Mobility’s ‘Lighter, Quicker, Cheaper’ Program aimed at making temporary enhancements to improve pedestrian safety while permanent solutions are developed and funded.

BACKGROUND: In the area listed above, a contractor will be performing a major excavation for utility repairs. Some travel lanes through this area may be temporarily closed during this process.

WHERE: the intersection of Patterson Avenue and Pepper Avenue (1st voter district)

BACKGROUND: As part of a traffic signal installation project at the intersection of Patterson Avenue and Pepper Avenue, there will be intermittent lane closures to allow the contractor to install ground rods for utility boxes.

BACKGROUND:  There will be alternating, temporary lane closures to allow the contractor to remove foundation junction boxes in the area listed above. The work is part of a traffic signal installation project.
