WHERE: The following locations: - Main Street at Main Street Station
- Amtrack parking lot (affected spaces will be coned off)
- E Cary St (near Canal Crossing Bldg.)
- 15th & Cary Public Parking (affected spaces will be coned off)
- Dock St (the area where it passes under the trestle)
- Canal Walk
- Manchester road emergency access road
BACKGROUND: CSX will be replacing the overhead rail lines that pass across the river.
Note: Work is scheduled to start on the Manchester side of the James River on Tuesday. The road closures for Shockoe Bottom are slated to happen on Wednesday |
