                                            Street Closure – West Franklin Street

WHAT:  Street Closure
 
WHEN:  Starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, February 1 and ending at 4 p.m. on Monday, March 8 

WHERE: West Franklin Street between Shafer and North Laurel streets (located in the 5th voter district)  

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to install a new manhole.

DPW’s portfolio comprises a wide array of services to include leaf collection; street, sidewalk and alley maintenance; trash collection; recycling; grass cutting;  graffiti removal; parking enforcement; urban forestry; street signs; traffic signals and pavement markings and civil engineering. WHEN:  Tuesday, January 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

WHERE: East Franklin Street between 1st and 2nd streets (located in the 5th voter district)  

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to replace equipment on the roof at 116 East Franklin Street. Please follow the detour signs.

                                            Lane Closure – East Marshall Street

WHEN:  Sunday, January 10 through Friday, February 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: East Marshall Street between 12th and 11th streets (located in the 6th voter district)  

BACKGROUND:  The area will be closed to install footings for an aerial bridge to connect the new Children’s Hospital to the main hospital at VCU.
